Only one of these six pays out every week, and some apps in that group even let you withdraw what you earned the same day.

Which one, and how it works, is further down.
🪪 Know which documents to keep ready +

Almost every employer asks for the same four things. Having them ready is what lets you start in days instead of weeks.

🛡️ Learn how to spot a fake job offer +

Fake job offers are everywhere right now, and most follow the same pattern. One rule protects you from nearly all of them.

The rule is further down.

Every day, delivery apps, warehouses, stores and call centres across India hire people with no experience at all. Many don’t ask for a resume. They ask whether you can show up, follow instructions and start soon.

What stops most people isn’t the work. It’s not knowing what a job really pays, how the money reaches you, and which offers are real.

Here are the six job areas hiring beginners right now, with the honest numbers for each one.

How You Actually Get Paid

This is the question most job ads skip. Here’s how the money reaches you in each of the six jobs.

Weekly, with a daily option: Delivery & Gig Most delivery apps pay every week. Some food delivery apps also let you withdraw that day’s earnings for a small fee, which is as close to same-day pay as entry-level work gets.
Monthly salary: the other five Warehouse, customer support, retail, security and housekeeping jobs pay a fixed salary once a month, straight into your bank account. Less flexible, but you know exactly what’s coming.
Before you compare: delivery earnings are what you make before fuel, mobile data and bike upkeep, which you pay yourself. A monthly salary has none of those costs taken out.

The Documents Almost Every Employer Asks For

Keep these ready and you can often start within days of being selected.

  • Aadhaar card for identity and address.
  • PAN card for payments and tax records.
  • Bank account with a passbook or cancelled cheque showing your IFSC code.
  • An active mobile number, and a smartphone for app-based jobs.
  • For delivery only: a driving licence plus your vehicle’s registration and insurance. Not needed if you deliver by bicycle.

Some roles, like customer support, may also ask for your 10th or 12th pass certificate.

⚠️ Never Pay to Get a Job

No genuine employer asks you to pay a registration or training fee to get a job. Delivery apps may charge for a bag and T-shirt kit, but only inside their own official app or from your payouts, never to a recruiter by UPI. If someone asks you to send money to “confirm” a job, it isn’t a job.

The exact signs of a fake offer for each job are on its own page. If you’ve already been targeted, report it at cybercrime.gov.in or call 1930.

Which One Fits You?

Think about what you need most right now.

You need money coming in fast Delivery pays weekly and lets you pick your hours. Customer support pays the most per month for freshers.
You want a steady salary Warehouse, security and retail jobs offer fixed monthly pay, and many warehouse roles add PF and insurance.
You want room to grow Customer support and retail both have clear steps up to team leader and supervisor roles.
Common Questions

Before You Apply

Does it cost anything to apply?+
Applying is free. The only common cost is the bag and T-shirt kit some delivery apps charge, paid inside the app or taken from your first payouts.
Do I need to speak English?+
Customer support roles usually need English or another language the company serves. For delivery, warehouse, security and housekeeping jobs, basic reading is often enough.
Can I work part-time?+
Delivery apps let you choose your hours, so part-time is common. Most of the other jobs work in fixed full-time shifts.
What is the minimum age?+
Most employers and delivery apps require you to be at least 18.
Do I need a degree?+
For most of these jobs, no. Some customer support roles ask for a 12th pass certificate or a degree.
